About me
I am a journalist and editor with extensive experience on national newspapers in the UK and overseas. Starting out as a freelance music critic and sub editor, I shifted into editing ten years ago. SInce then, I have worked on a number of successful projects and respected publications. Up until recently, I was fortunate enough to play a part in the launch and continued success of The Guardian's award-winning Long Read section.
Since leaving that position in August 2017, I have worked for a number of corporate clients in a variety capacities. Jobs have included editing client-facing literature and online properties for a leading transatlantic legal firm and providing a full range of editorial services to the Red Bull Music Academy.
As both an editor and writer, it has long been my job to deal sensitively with a broad range of subject matter and to produce copy that engages its intended audience.
