About me
I am somebody who has varied interests. I enjoy all the typical mile is activities along side more niche interests such as cities, transit, politics ad the arts. I would describe myself as quite driven and within the next five years, I aim to publish a work of fiction, speak at least another language at a good conversational level, and to complete an extended solo trek. I will be starting an evening MSc in October in Cities (geography, data science, sociology and history).

    To perform the duties of a colleague, who eventually left the organisation, whilst undertaking my duties as a Principal Officer. The role involves directly supporting the head of service to ensure the office runs smoothly and that all processes are clear, simple and adhered to. • Moved 75% services to an online booking platform resulting in a 95% channel shift for one of our services. • Created simple end-of-day cashbooks so that money could be monitored more efficiently and simplifying the monthly reports. • Created new methods of storing, monitoring and recording the issue of secure government stock. • Assisted with the implementation of ICT specification for the new office. • The lead ICT assistant in the office. • Monitored customer satisfaction and created reports for the Head of Service and Director of Governance • Used CRM to ensure our website was up-to-date • Created telephony scripts to ensure customers are routed to the correct department and to reduce corporate complaints. • To monitor KPIs and manipulate the diary to ensure KPIs are achieved. • Seen as the deputy by the team when managing the challenges and changes that have occurred due to coronavirus including; shift to WFH, implementing new government mandated procedures, ensuring COVID security of site, compiling risk assessments, creating internal and external communications and maintaining team resilience.
