I am a freelance technician and designer working in live events, specialising in live video and lighting. Having worked with the technical production of live events for the past 10 years, I currently work across all sectors from Theatre to Live Music to Corporate to Broadcast. Producing production paperwork including schematic and specification documents, 3D models and analysis. Technical support to designers and animators, media server and system configuration.

Dealing with cameras, microwave radio links, vision mixers and other video distribution, IT equipment and networks for video streaming. Also LED screens, sound and lighting for live events. Setting up, operating and taking down equipment on site at live events, equipment allocation and maintenance. Plymouth based but working nationally and internationally.
Preparing, rigging, patching and focussing lighting and AV equipment in the Drum Theatre. Assisting with stage / sound departments when requested. Supervising venue during shows, liaising with visiting companies to fulfil their requirements. General venue / equipment maintenance. Writing show reports. Get ins / Get outs.
