About me
I love writing and I love how people think. I could easily shine this summary up with other unrelated things about myself, such as my unholy addiction to salted caramel, or how I lie awake at night thinking things like "I wonder what my dog named me?". But, I'll get straight to it - what I enjoy about my work is nothing more or less than that very first sentence. Writing, because let's face it, it's magic - words are nothing more than marks on a piece of paper, but when we look at them we see the images and hear the voices of whatever the author has chosen for us to see or hear. And people, because there are 7 billion of us, yet no two are the same. I find that writing for people is similar to an addictive puzzle; I have to find the right words and put them in the right order, for the right audience - and as challenging as that is, I cannot help but love it.

    WWF AppHerdr is an app created for WWF that works the same way as Tinder, but with a twist. The user opens the app with the belief that it will give them the location, information and photos of their chosen animals by swiping left for no and right for yes, After the decisions have been made it will take them to a screen where their choices have been collected and the information should be given, but it won't be. Instead, all their choices will turn up red as if they hadn't "liked" them. The app will
  • Schwartz Menu Maker
    Schwartz Menu MakerWorking alongside Jessica Bradley we created an app for Schwartz to bring some ease into cooking. The Schwartz Menu maker keeps track of your friends likes and dislikes when it comes to food and then gives you options that you can cook dependant on those preferences. We chose Schwarts since we believe it would benefit most from this app due to its wide variation of products that could be easily added to the app.

    Colgate whiteningDigital billboard with facial recognition that picks out the smile of the user. Ad could also be used as an online piece using webcams allowing people to share their results via social media.

    TwiningsAfter discovering that Twinings were trying to reinvent themselves as an everyday brand, myself and my art director decided that we wanted to give it a go without losing twinings promise of high quality.

    SimpleAfter seeing what we thought as a bad advertisement in the Metro for Simple's skincare range, we decided we could do one better and created the "It's not complex, it's simple" campaign. The campaign is based on the core values that Simple offers and how some great things can be done with the most simple items.
