- WDR MediagroupWorking closely with WDR Mediagroup I was tasked with developing a series of illustrations and short animations for their upcoming 360 campaign. I designed and animated three motives that perform unique position, speediness and diversity of messages by using a mix-media approach combining CG imagery & 2D hand-drawn elements.
- The BletherThe Blether is a new independent talks night based in London Hackney, showcasing speakers from a variety of backgrounds and expertise. I was commissioned to create a short film and posters to promote their latest series of talks on the subject of mental health. Working together with Justin Mulcahy, we developed a concept that would carry through moving image and stills. Mental health is an incredibly complicated issue to tackle - even more so because it means different things to different
- MementoMemento is an ongoing series of videos to keep track of my thoughts, emotions, memories and imaginations visualised as characters, playfully assembled physical objects and materials I found on car boot sales, pound shops,a department store in Tokyo and DIY shop in New York. The clips are all shot in camera.
- Celebration of the global unityA collaborating with Absolut for their new social campaign. They asked me to design an illustration with the subject: celebrate the global unity. The idea was to create an animated painting on a canvas to visualise the diversity of humans personalities and their culture in a powerful, positive and playful tone. - LUDO SANS / ANIMATED TYPELudoSans is a handcrafted font. Using the Strata-Cut technique, the characters move and change in colour and pattern bringing a level of playfulness and fun, that is unique to the process. Strata-Cut is a form of stop-motion animation invented in the 20s and 30s by Oskar Fischinger, refined in the 80s by David Daniels.
