In partnership with Albany: a performing arts centre in Deptford, I am creating an Afro-fusion music event as part of the Lewisham borough of culture program to celebrate the diversity and culture in the borough.
My primary responsibilities are:
1. Determining a befitting theme.
2. Creating and managing a budget
3. Creating a risk assessment plan.
4. Sourcing the talent that will be performing,
5. Creating communications/Promotional assets.
6. Creating a marketing strategy plan,
7. Determining the sonic progression of the event by working with a DJ to create a mix and a VJ specialist to create a visual project that accompanies the music.
8. Liaising with a technical team to determine the lighting, sound, and stage design requirements.

Exhibition Curator: Newham Heritage MonthUCL Special Collections

Curated an exhibition as part of the University of central London's special collections program. This was done in partnership with the borough of Newham to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Olympics in the borough.
Primary responsibilities were:
1. Designing a banner with a QR code for the exhibition.
2. Working as a team to interview public members on their experience during the 2012 London Olympics.
3. Shooting and Co-producing the recorded footage.
5. Presenting to the program's facilitators, including UCL and Newham borough council members.
