I’m a Senior Production Executive with a solid track record in digital, broadcast, multi-media and live events and what I do really is to create and deliver amazing content, whatever shape that takes. I joined Condé Nast’s Video department as a founder member in April 2015 and in less than two years have grown from a team of three to over 20. I oversee the production of short and long form content for Vogue, GQ and Wired and manage both the editorial productions and the brand sponsored content. A major part of my job is managing the internal and external stakeholder relationships. The bulk of my career has been spent producing live events from Glastonbury for the BBC to MTV’s European Music. I’ve also been Head of Production at Somethin’ Else overseeing production at this award winning multi-platform content company and also at Blink TV, where we specialised in festival coverage including the Isle of Wight and Bestival. I’m confident with productions of all sizes and budgets, from literally hundreds, to millions, all over the world, and of course the associated scoping, contracting and process for individual projects and department wide delivery. I really enjoy a challenge and working on fresh new ideas incorporating new technology to constantly keep addressing what content is right now, and what it will be tomorrow. I’ve got a calm and supportive approach, love of process (but never to excess), and I’m a strong team leader.
This is a maternity cover position until Autumn 2019 which involves working across strategy, programming and production for the National Theatre Live broadcasts into cinemas. NT Live launched in June 2009 broadcasting the National’s productions to cinemas around the world. NT Live broadcasts have now been experienced by over 5.5 million people in over 2,000 venues around the world, including over 650 venues in the UK alone. As well as productions from the National Theatre, we work with a wide range of British theatres and co-producers and are currently working with Bridge Theatre, ATG Productions + Chichester Festival Theatre and Nottingham Playhouse.
I am part of the founding team of the newly created department: we launched Vogue in 2015, and GQ and Wired in 2016. This has been an amazing opportunity to start from scratch with planning, strategy and operations in this renowned international publishing company. We have grown subscribers significantly from pre-launch and continue to grow views each month and worked with some of the world’s biggest talents in film, fashion, comedy and lifestyle. Our team of staff and regular freelancers now numbers 20, and our editorial content sits alongside our commercial content with projects for brands including Gucci, Haig, Burberry, Microsoft and Intel. We have won a slew of awards including two Webbys in 2016 for our first short documentary series.
I joined media and production company Blink TV to oversee delivery of their output ranging from live music events, screens visuals, and documentaries. Festival coverage in 2014 included the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, USA for MTV networks and Bestival and Benicassim Festivals for Channel 4. I oversaw multiple productions, managed and hired the production and editorial teams including Directors and Producers, PMs and Co-ordinators. I also directly managed projects and reviewed technical workflows and oversaw post production.
