About me

CEO and founder of Bird Lime Media: a production company and media consultancy that champions fresh new talent from all backgrounds. We offer paid work experience, mentoring and skills workshops to people from underrepresented backgrounds to help them break into the media industry. Some of our clients include: Women's Prize for Fiction, ITV, Kew Gardens, IPPF, Found and Flourish, Shout, Save the Children and Penguin. Previously: Head of video for Oath (HuffPost, AOL and Endgadget), deputy head of video for the Press Association, digital media consultant at ITV News and global media lead at Save the Children. I led teams, created strategies and oversaw multimedia production. Over the past 18 years I have trained and worked as a video journalist - both in London and in hostile environments. I have produced short form video, VR, documentaries, I've written video strategies, social media strategies and have launched new multimedia teams and products. I've shot on assignment in over 20 countries. My images and videos have been published on news sites globally.
