Account ManagementThe Marketing Store
-
Whilst at TMS I worked with both Britvic and Carlsberg on a 6 month rotation, my role on both accounts involved broadly:
•Working in partnership with the project teams to deliver insight-driven ideas.
•Taking responsibility for and delivering research projects. This required me to act independently a lot of the time and present my findings to colleagues.
•Organising and attending monthly store visits which allowed me to become a champion of competitor activity and retailer updates.
•Providing frequent market news updates both internally to the wider the FMCG team and externally to clients to keep them abreast of recent activations and innovations within the marketing sector. This allowed me to develop my communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proactively providing timely project status information and contact reports for manager and team.
•Learning about budgets, good financial planning and processed the day-to-day costs of projects as required.
