I'm Deacon, a passionate freelance photographer with over 8 years experience and recent graduate in MA Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from University of the Arts London. Having just graduated, I am currently trying to figure out my next steps in the industry and am open for new freelance as well as more permanent part-time or full-time roles within the creative field. My expertise lies in journalistic, portrait, events and performance photography but I am also willing to explore new directions.

- Every Time They Ask, We Say We're WaitingEvery Time They Ask, We Say We're Waiting is a project focused on Hong Kong asylum seekers in the UK. Deacon’s deep connection with these individuals stems from their previous involvement as protestors, which I had documented as a photojournalist. While the UK government introduced the British National (Overseas) visa in response to the NSL, those born after Hong Kong's handover are ineligible and must seek asylum.
