I’m an experienced art director who has worked across the UK magazine industry for companies including Condé Nast, Hachette and Associated Newspapers. I’ve been both freelance and on staff.
My career has mainly been in print but I have also converted magazine layouts into iPad pages and launched online design magazine DesignFizz in 2014.
I’m very flexible and can adapt quickly to any given situation. My work is clean, precise and visually strong and I know what to ask or request to get the end result that’s needed.
I’ve worked with editors, photographers, stylists and picture desks and can turn my hand to virtually anything. I’m fast, creative and very organised. I can initiate ideas, work as part of a team or unsupervised. I can run an art desk or deputise for an art director and I’m also able to work from home if needed.
I’m currently looking to work with a team of inspired creatives on either a short or long term basis and am happy to work in a support role or to take the lead as and when required.
