About me

Hello, Im Deji Feyisetan, a London-based creative director, content writer & copywriter. After completing a BA Journalism degree I went on to launch Pineal Sounds, a dance event and boutique record label. Since founding the label and leading creative strategy, the brand has quickly established a core following in the U.K. and grown its’ audience worldwide through focused social media campaigns. Pineal Sounds has been well-received critically, and has featured in DJ Magazine (UK), as well as rallying support from Resident Advisor, NTS, Teki Latex and a whole host of online publications. I’m also an active and passionate writer, with a creative eye. My areas of expertise are music and youth culture. As a millennial I am well adept to creating engaging, shareable content for the digital age. My innate introspection and dry humour are proven in my freelance work. However, I also thrive writing to agreed T-O-Vs and house-styles. My goal is to look past the brief and try to solve the issues that my clients are really facing within their respective industries. I aim to use my vision in collaboration with clients to create a user experience synonymous the brand and their trade. The skills that I bring to the table include; branding, digital marketing, PR and events. However, I enjoy challenging convention and relish the opportunity of leaping into the unknown. My work usually involves the subversion of popular iconography and culture. The use and manipulation of recognisable imagery provokes a visceral response to each brand and the experience that they provide. I offer creative consultation, strategy, creative direction, design, art direction, curation and project management.
