During my first year within the company I produced all local and event campaign content throughout Ireland, ensuring that adverts where sent out on time, picked up in the correct email/social media slots and targeted their correct demographics. This task has lead me to become confident in the use of systems such as salesforce, curator, pipeline, companies house, credit safe and photo manager, all of which enable me to track a promotions performance, exposure and internal communication with all stakeholders both in and out of house. I have worked my hardest to build strong client relationships to ensure that the production and marketing process for clients has been a smooth experience for all involved, be them a smaller independent retailer to a partnership with the likes of Ingresso and AEG; this in turn leading to repeat business for both parties. In my second year I moved on to tacking the whole of the UK on our local, live events and escape platform. This has developed the strength of my multi tasking, copywriting/proof reading, editing and ability to work to the strict company guidelines set out across the different verticals. Working simultaneously across these accounts has meant that I have had to maintain a strong level of communication between myself and 6 other departments, which is a task I really enjoy as having a constant changing workload and people to report into encourages me to maintain my high standards. My ability to plan ahead with a intense work schedule and delegate tasks within the team has led to my progression to senior production coordinator, thus tasking me on top of my current workload with additional deadlines, help managing and guiding a team of 10, participating in 1-1 meetings to ensure kpi’s are met, monitoring the departments work rate and working hand in hand with the scheduling teams to ensure campaigns are optimised on site to ensure a return in revenue. By keeping a watchful eye on the workload coming in, I have been able to maximise our overall efficiency (specifically over summer events and Christmas periods) by enforcing a strong team work ethic, where all individuals band together to exceed the deadlines set at the beginning of the week. The extra responsibility has been a great insight into how to handle post flight issues that occur whilst promotions are running on site and being able to troubleshoot them in case by case order, as well as learning how to acknowledge colleagues strengths and help them to work harder towards their own progression and benefit of the company.
DiverseME is a photography based workshop program that I started in 2012. It sets out to encourage the acceptance of diversity within the creative and education sector by using interactive photography projects to get participants talking about issues being faced in today’s society. The project has gained fantastic feedback from fashion creative’s (E.g. All Walks Beyond The Catwalk and Models of Diversity founder Angel Sinclair) who have encouraged the brand to push forward with its goals. I have collaborated with three separate organisations at present, with them all taking a keen interest in the work created to benefit their students. My role here is constant and requires a very hands on approach to shoot coordination to ensure subjects are dealt with sensitively, locations and styling is considered to maximise the impact of the final outcome, team delegation is use to ensure assistants and talent work together to achieve the same goals and an open minded management style is in place to create a relaxing but serious working atmosphere.
