After a long period of illness i rediscovered my love for crafting and making....
From my tiny kitchen I make jewellery
Rings, pendants and earrings mostly. I use Sterling silver and I try to incorporate cement and resin....
I also enjoy making greeting cards using the paper cut method
I find the process of making so very mindful and relaxing and so so very enjoyable.
This is something I do and will continue to do for the rest of my days....
Projects
- Handmade Cement Mis-Matched Earring StudsI love wearing mismatched jewellery especially earrings.... Drops with studs, large hoop in one ear and a small hoop in the other.... Such fun!!! So created these mismatched statement studs using one of my favourite materials, cement. To get this gorgeous almost black colour I mixed the cement with a bit of resin.... And I only use 925 Sterling silver for the posts and butterfly backs...
- Orb PendantThis is my Orb and Sterling Silver Pendant... The chain is a 30inch Sterling silver small belcher chain and the sphere or orb was made using crafter cement. I like contemporary jewellery and I find cement such a beautiful and versatile material and because I use crafters cement, when worn the pendant is quite lightweight....
