Senior (15+ years) strategist and internationally experienced brand marketer with demonstrable success across complex propositions. Extensive experience in US & UK media markets, audience insight/planning, advertising, on-air/off-air marketing, channel brand positioning and strategy. With 31,000 employees and revenue of £11 billion, Sky is Europe's leading entertainment company, serving 20 million customers across five countries: Italy, Germany, Austria, the UK and Ireland. Responsible for strategy & creative marketing effectiveness across Sky Entertainment Channels (Sky1, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts), Sky Movies and the Sky Sports Portfolio (Sky Sports 1-5, Sky Sports F1). He sits on Sky's Creative Leadership Team & Sky's LGBT Programme Board. Looking to connect with great creatives, marketeers, agencies and strategists. - In June 2016, Denny Tu was recognised in The Financial Times inaugural 100 Leading Ethnic Minorities Power List which ranks executives in US and UK who have reached senior roles in business while also championing ethnic diversity and inclusion in the workplace. In February 2016, Denny ranked #9 in the Telegraph's Top 50 LGBT Executives List. The Financial Times has twice named him as one of the top 100 most influential, out LGBT business people in the world. He is profiled in Winq Magazine’s latest June/July issue. He speaks regularly on the topic of being LGBT in Media & Sport and serves as a mentor to emerging LGBT talent at Sky. He has served on the agency board for CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing), is an active member of International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences as well as holding a 3-year mentorship at the American Film Institute's Digital Content Lab. He has been recognized with marketing industry distinctions including Emmy, IPA, Telly, Cannes Lion, and D&AD.
