I have a strong interest in analytics and innovation, and I am also an creative communicator with a background in design engineering. These qualities, represent my singular approach to the continuous development of positive customer responses - in line with the goals of a business.
Through completing a BEng in Chemical Engineering, I have evolved an understanding of the design and management, of commercial processes for new product development. To build on this foundation in applied creativity, I seek to gain experience in the improvement of existing practices, to ultimately pioneer novel approaches for sustainable competitiveness.

Business Development Consultant

Primarily, this involves the circular process of generating and refining novel ideas in order to create added value for customers, ultimately reforming each product as an experience. This largely consists of contributing to aspects of the user experience design, and advising the CEO on marketing approaches to ensure sustainable growth for the business.
In my role, I make significant contributions to the continuous improvement of the growing menswear brand, by contextualising the creative perspective I have developed (through my experience as an artiste in the music industry) to a start-up business.
Finance Intern

Working as an intern in this investment firm, I gained a brief insight to the management company accounts and financial statements. I also had the opportunity to apply my strong understanding of financial economics and risk evaluation techniques, to generate solutions to real business problems .
By learning from exceptional individuals from diverse educational backgrounds, I was able to conduct an assessment of an investment opportunity (evaluating ROI and Cash Flow analysis), which I presented to the CEO of the firm using Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel pivot tables. Although this experience challenged my adaptability and communication skills, I was able to enhance my versatility by applying my problem solving and data analytics techniques, to assist decision making during investment negotiations.

+ Process Design – This module has provided me with valuable experience on the industrial application of technical engineering principles, to the practical design of chemical manufacturing processes. Over a 9 month period, I completed an advanced design project which provided me with strong experience in project management. I was able to combine my creativity and analytical skills with research, to devise the most economical design practice for the large scale production of Choline Chloride (according to precise product and environmental requirements).
+ Innovation and Creativity in Industry – Here, I gained a detailed understanding of the importance of adopting an innovative approach to business activities in order to enhance competitiveness, and create long term sustainability. By studying the relevance of analytics to understanding consumer behaviour, I have built a good foundation in the application of a creative design, to business operations through the identification of hidden needs.
+ Process Economics and Loss Prevention – Through this introduction to methods for process appraisal, I gained an overview on the role of both safety and economics in the maintenance of sustainable projects. This involved applying technical and economical evaluation techniques to hazard prevention and profitability analysis respectively. As a result, I have developed key risk assessment skills useful for informed decision-making over the course of the design process.
