About me

I Am Derrick Odafi, a 23 year old Creative from Dagenham, Essex. I am the Editor In Chief of my own creative magazine 'New Wave Magazine' and the Creative Director for an independent fashion publication, Cover Magazine. I have been involved in various projects within the creative industry, from working with clothing brands to being involved in the visual campaign launch of a start up application and working with artists on graphic content. I have also been a photographer for various projects such as look books and editorials as well as being a writer for stories on my Independent Magazine.

  New Wave Magazine Issue VIIIssue VII features the talented musician Sam Wise gracing the cover. Sam Wise is a rapidly growing artist in the UK music scene with an immense talent for creating music and visuals that complement his sound. As Creative Director And Editor In Chief, I was involved in managing this project from beginning to end. Some skills I exhibited during this project include Graphic design, curation, photography, project management, and video editing.
