I have over 10 years experience in client facing and production roles and after a year travelling the world in 2015-2016, have been freelancing in a number of different positions where I have gained experience working with established companies and start ups across a range of industries. Freelance production and sponsorship activation help on experiential and launch events across luxury and lifestyle brands.
At the British Arrows I have been working across business development and production. Responsible for generating revenue across entries, ticket sales and sponsorships, I managed all aspects of client development and communication from entry opening to beyond the event itself. I also contributed significantly to the live event production, managing a team of production co-ordinators and runners. Since the 2017 show, I am developing workflows and project managing partnership processes in preparation for the 2018 show.
My position at Hatch involved developing new business opportunities and managing a team of junior employees on a consultancy basis. This included reviewing and implementing processes to the workflow, creating pitch documentation and marketing materials, presenting the company to prospective partners, and setting development targets for the team I managed.
I provided sales and business development services to Around & About Bath during their start-up period. This included conducting research into the travel marketplace, preparing marketing materials, generating leads and conducting meetings with potential hotels and travel agents.
*Nominated for the IPA's Women of Tomorrow Award for New Business in 2013 Working with the Head of Sales, Director of New Business and Managing Director to understand the business requirements, my focus was primarily on initiating sales leads and subsequently responding to brand RFPs, pitching and negotiating with advertisers at global director and procurement level. I worked closely with internal and external marketing and production teams throughout implementation and ongoing campaign management. In this role I also co-ordinated company events, and liaised with events organisers at industry events in relation to sponsorship deals. I was responsible for project managing the company's website re-brand across 8 key territories.
Responsible for developing and maintaining new business strategies and account plans to exceed and report on agreed company targets. I analysed and met with potential strategic partners to develop a multi platform service to increase the company's offering to clients, and managed 3 execs across client services developing performance indicators and progression plans, as well as leading weekly sales training.
Managed accounts of key clients (independent record labels, major record labels, major agencies and management companies) and developed relationships with client base to consistantly exceed company targets. I also assisted the in-house production team and managed production process on live projects, often outsourcing and working with external production companies.
In this role I liaised with record labels and pluggers to coordinate the delivery of new music to radio and TV, and ensure time sensitive music videos and tracks got sent to broadcasters on time. I also developed the New Media service at the start of online video channels launching – setting up meetings with digital departments at record labels and new media sites offering a digital platform for music videos.
Plugging videos to music TV channels, organising competitions, tickets and travel, chaperoning artists to interviews and TV appearances, updating weekly reports, organising mailouts and press packs.
Assisted teams across marketing and promotions of signed artists to the label.
Taught an extra-curricular class of twelve 13 – 16 year olds how to mix, record and use music programming and sampling.
