As a Sales Assistant at Clarks, my role is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service and promoting Clarks' footwear products. I take pride in helping customers find the perfect shoes to meet their needs and preferences. Here are the key aspects of my job:
Customer service: I warmly greet customers, engage in friendly conversations, and attentively listen to their footwear requirements. I offer expert advice, leverage my extensive product knowledge, and assist customers in selecting the most suitable shoes. My goal is to create a positive and personalized shopping experience for each customer.
Product knowledge: I have a deep understanding of Clarks' shoe range, including various styles, materials, and features. I stay updated on the latest product releases, ensuring I can provide accurate information and effectively address customer queries.
Sales and upselling: I actively promote Clarks' products, aiming to meet sales targets. By understanding customers' preferences and needs, I offer tailored recommendations, suggest complementary products, and highlight any ongoing promotions or discounts.
Store presentation: I take pride in contributing to an attractive and organized store environment. I diligently arrange shoes on display racks, ensure proper product placement, and regularly restock merchandise. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store is also part of my responsibility.
Cash handling and transactions: I confidently handle cash transactions and efficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system. This includes processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing exchanges or returns in adherence to Clarks' policies.
Teamwork and collaboration: I work closely with other sales assistants, supervisors, and managers to achieve our store's goals. We collaborate to ensure seamless store operations, support one another when needed, and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Brand ambassadorship: I embody Clarks' brand values and represent the company with professionalism. I adhere to the company's dress code, maintain a positive attitude, and actively contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive store environment.
