Running and developing a strategic plan for the Social Media Channels for Truman, Truman Markets, Juju’s Bar and Pizza Purist, writing the fortnightly Newsletter, looking after the events on site during weekends and holidays, working on research projects with different team members as well as helping develop new Truman run events for 2016-2017. Working in the Marketing Department for two summers in a row. Working on print ads from conception to publication. Creating InDesign spreads for banking brochures. Planning client events. And finally writing press releases for CSR campaigns.
This role consisted of looking after the gallery space and making sure the art was not damaged or touched throughout the day. However over the three month period I was able to create a guided tour based on the show (Pangea: New Art from Africa and Latin America) and present it to the public on a daily basis. This improved my interpersonal skills as well as my knowledge of contemporary art.
In July 2015 I graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelors of the Arts in Events Management. The three years of education have lead me to have a strong background in Marketing, HR, and Project Management for the Service Industry. My passion however is in the Creative Industries, and working in an organisational role in a creative sector.
