Dilly Orme is an established Interiors Editor with over 25 years experience as a stylist and writer. She contributes regularly to Ideal Home, House Beautiful, The English Home, 25 Beautiful Homes, Real Homes, Good Homes, Style At Home and HomeStyle, travelling nationally to style readers’ homes and to creatively direct promotional photography.
She edited the Woman’s Weekly monthly craft magazine, Love To Make, a perfect bound glossy magazine with 76 to 100 pages of editorial, and has strong management experience developed over the last twenty years during which she ran home departments on Me, Essentials and Woman’s Weekly.
As well as briefing stylists and photographers and directing shoots, she has also commissioned a wide variety of crafts, which need to be carefully produced to work effectively in styled shoots.
Utilising a breadth of knowledge acquired during her on going career in interiors magazines she offers her consultancy skills to enable brands to be set off to full effect and for individuals to achieve their desired interior schemes to suit their style and budget.

This role started on a trial basis for three months and ran for eighteen months. It was a wonderful roller coaster ride of an experience. The magazine started with a team of crafters, whom I managed, making 20 on-trend projects a month, with a budget of £7000. In the end I produced the whole magazine single-handedly with no budget – proving just how resourceful and hard working I can be.
