About me
Social has become a core pillar for most brands and during my experience i have been able to work across a number of big brands, from Xbox, MINI UK, Tesco, HSBC, and Sky to AMEX and Audi creating some truly exciting and award winning work. Over the past three years I have been leading one of the most iconic brands across all of its social channels - MINI UK. From implementing an ever evolving social strategy and always striving to push the creative boundaries of owned channel content. I want to create innovative, memorable and successful campaigns. As a Londoner I’m passionate about my city and culture and I always strive to create work that is culturally relevant, as it is exciting and engaging. In a role I’ve moulded for myself I’ve been able to bridge the traditional roles of a social media manager, creative and strategy. Creating social strategies and the development of creative content is a core part of my role. I am always pushing to create the best content possible, as well as developing the more junior members of the social team. I have managed talent from celebrity to influencer (including contract negations) and created tailored content briefs as well as helping with the delivery of content to the highest level across all social platforms. Working closely with wider teams I have always strived to form closer connections with the various departments, from planners and account managers to traditional creatives. Being the lead social person on such a big clients has its demands but is something I am fully accustomed to. I am also adept and often use data and insights to help form creative and strategy - from quarterly overviews, to the granular reports tailored to specific campaigns and monthly performances. All of which are used to optimise content and inform future work.

The idea of the programme was in response to the underrepresentation of creative talent from minority backgrounds within the creative industry. Instead

KitKat InstagramWe all know the tagline, “Have a break, have a Kitkat.” Being a social lead for the global KitKat account, I had the job of translating this into social. At the time that I started working on this account, the KitKat Instagram only had 800 followers with no strategy, design or art direction - but after injecting a little bit of love and time, I took charge and grew their followers to half a million within 2 years. I designed, art directed, animated and filmed most of the content with a minimal

Currently working into the Head of Social I have established myself as a key figure of the agency and have led on a number of social activations. Since working at The Brooklyn Brothers, I've developed and continue to develop all areas of my work. Leading on campaign activation - from strategy, creative ideation to execution. I've led on the MINI UK social comms and have made great strides in taking their content and channels to the next level. I've also been fortunate enough to work on a host of other great clients - AMEX, Blue Fuel, First Direct, JLR. AMEX Fearless campaign was a great achievement and featured some great talent and influencers. I also played a key role in JLR Tech fest. A great event that featured new car models, incredible panel hosts, and some great event activities. I continue to develop and am always looking to play a key role in all accounts at The Brooklyn Brothers.

As Social Manager at JWT London I have had the opportunity to manage a team and help to develop the more junior members in the social team. As well as this, I have had senior management and oversight in the strategy development across a range of key social accounts.
