Born in Taiwan, Dino Shi-Yong Zhao is a designer passionate about sustainability and storytelling. In 2004, Dino finished his BA degree in Industrial and Product Design at Tunghai University, Taiwan. After graduating, he worked as a department store window display and installation designer, while also working as a freelance graphic designer.
To broaden his vision internationally and develop profound meaning in his works, Dino joined the spatial practices programme, Narrative Environments, at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. During his studying, he not only equipped with the capability to engage people with spaces and stories but also acquired the collaboration experience with the British Museum, Tezenis and the Paddington Partnership. His interdisciplinary background in design means that his works are based on sound knowledge and provide unique perspectives.
