DJ MEL IS AN EXPERIENCED FEMALE DJ IN THE LONDON HIP HOP AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC SCENE.
When she's not in the lab carrying out medical research as a Cancer Biologist, she’s hosting some of the hottest events in London.
A fixture in the London community for the past 3 years, DJ Mel currently works as a Multi- Genre DJ in Central London with residencies at some of the hottest venues such as the Nike store, The 5* Curtain Hotel Shoreditch, The Conduit and Junkyard Golf Club. Perhaps most known for collaborating with brands such as BMW, Jaded LDN, London Dessert Festival, Beefeater and Topshop. She is a veteran with a wide variety of experience, having played at nightclubs, weddings, influencer events, student nights, private events and boat parties.
DJ and Scientist, born in a musically influenced home in southern England, DJ Mel is known for planning, hosting and promoting her own shows. For her, it's all about great vibes, good music and having an awesome time. Playing those tracks that will get you nodding your head and tapping your feet without realising. During her sets you may find yourself repeatedly taking your phone out in order to "Shazam" many of the eclectic, diverse and timeless tracks she plays.
DJ Mel enjoys nothing more than playing the hottest tracks and knows how to get a crowd dancing. She specialises in Commercial Charts, Funky House, Disco, Soul , Funk, Chill out, Future Beats, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Afrobeat’s and Deep House; recently landing a spot in the Top 100 most played mixes in Mix cloud’s R&B and Hip-Hop Chart.
She is most commonly described as reliable, passionate and consistent, uploading monthly mixes and keeping up to date with the latest jams. In addition to mixing for some of the most current celebrities such as Afro- B, Davido, Little Mix, The New York Yankees and Roc Nation.
Mel is a very versatile DJ and is able to cater to most client needs. Whether you're looking for a great party set or something more specialist. DJ Mel will work with you to create the right atmosphere and soundtrack for your party.
