I have been working within various sectors of the creative arts for the past 12 years including; producing visual media, choreography, performance and teaching dance to people of all ages.
In 2010, I started training with the Laurence Olivier award-winning dance company ‘Boy Blue’. Since then, I have elevated my practice by becoming a choreographer, teacher & mentor for the company.
I also developed an interest in visual media and enrolled in the Digital Design BA course at London South Bank University where I discovered new innovative ways to combine creativity, music and media. With these skills I have produced, directed and edited a number of short dance films, exploring how a story can be depicted through movement and told through the lens of a camera.
I strive to think outside the box and push myself to produce art with a high level of creativity.
This involves undertaking research to write briefs, treatments for upcoming campaigns, developing marketing strategies specifically designed with the client’s target audience in mind, collaborating with artist/designers and most importantly being authentically myself.
I have been teaching dance for 11 years. I focus on the training and the foundation by using choreographic methods & devices. My aims in my class is to have a refreshed perspective on understanding how to execute hip hop movement.
