About me
I am an interdisplinary artist based in Merseyside, I have worked as an actor (freelance) for the Liverpool organisation BlackFest which was hosted by the Everyman theatre Liverpool in 2019. As well as an unpaid extra on homegrown Liverpool independant films. I have also performed as a spoken word artist for BlackFest, TWT (The World Transformed) Festival, Root-ed zine.
Projects
- BlackFest Self Love Film ProjectI participated in BlackFest's Self Love film Project where I devised a poem, developed story boards in order to use symbolic images with cinematography. This project is about being unapologetically black and embracing Black heritage. *THIS PROJECT IS STILL IN POST THIS IS ONLY A PREVIEW* USE HEADPHONES IF NOT VIEWING FROM AN IPHONE OR LAPTOP.
- Kiara Mohamed The Lives We Lead (2020)This Project was created in response to the BLM Movement by Black Trans artist Kiara Mohamed this Film was shot during the first lockdown in March 2020. The parts that feature me, and that were shot by me include the Black Lives Matter March in Liverpool as well as shots of my daily life.
