The role has afforded insight into how campaigns are developed and implemented, communication with NGO and corporate partners, and research and analysis skills. Duties include: -Writing and posting original content on the Peace One Day social media accounts -Contributing ideas for social media strategy and campaigns -Researching innovative ways to reach and expand the Peace One Day audience -Measuring reach of social media campaigns using Twitter and Google Analytics, Google -Alerts and Excel Spreadsheets

  • The role involved shadowing a speech therapist and assisting with administrative duties. It required me to be sufficient in Microsoft Excel & Office. I accompanied the Speech Therapist in meetings with clients, both adults and children and therefore it was imperative that I remained professional but affable. This experience boosted my communicative confidence and client liaison skills.

  • This role required working and communicating closely with another student in order to ensure the business was efficient. Duties included: -Sorting and selecting the clothing for online sales -Liaising with wholesale customers -Packaging and delivery -Using Social Media (Twitter and Instagram) to build online presence and brand awareness -Setting up and running eVintage stalls at Cardiff Vintage Fairs and V Festival

  • Six week TEFL course in Thailand required strong organisation, presentation and public speaking skills in order to deliver successful lessons and breach the language barrier. I flourished in a leadership role and found it a hugely rewarding task. Another skill I acquired was to speak basic conversational Thai. The whole experience proved my adaptability and strength of communication. The 6 week TEFL Internship qualifies me to teach English as a foreign language. My Responsibilities included: Creating lesson plans Teaching English classes to up to 25 Thai Primary School children Leading Physical Education lessons and after-school sports sessions Organising and overseeing a Sports-Day festival for the entire school
