My job was writing articles, things to do, creating social media campaigns, competitions and gain relevant and loyal followers. During the first two months the Instagram following grew by 250 followers and our reach doubled.

Three-month long internship for social enterprise Social Streets, working on a magazine Roman Road LDN.
I was responsible for creating all the content for Roman Road LDN magazine. This included pitching stories relevant to our audience, conducting interviews, writing features, reviews, events and news. My main responsibility was managing social media platforms- Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and scheduling posts using Tweetdeck. I oversaw creating weekly newsletters and sending them out by using Mailchimp. My other duties included: optimising images for the website (metadata), optimising content for the website (metadata and on page SEO), compiling data and managing databases, creating social media campaigns to support the website's content strategy and using data to gather insights and report on performance.

Two-week long placement working for BA Highlife magazine- an official in-flight magazine for British Airways.
During my time at BA Highlife, I was responsible for writing shorter features, sidebars, box-outs, picture captions, and promotional articles. I’ve also contributed to Business Life magazine and High Life China and conducted interviews for the entertainment section of BA Highlife. I’ve successfully pitched stories to the editor and helped with administrative work such as dealing with PR, research, booking interviews, organising and transcribing interviews and meetings. I was always present at the weekly meetings, ready to bring fresh ideas and brainstorm with the team.
