Dougal Verinder Gedge is a freelance art director, curator, and graphic designer based in London, UK. He works with artists throughout London, facilitating concepts and stories from a wide range of both graduate and postgraduate practices, with the aim of creating art-adjacent events and exhibitions. He has curated multiple shows and projects, showcasing diverse and innovative artworks and perspectives.
Dougal holds a Master of Arts in Experimental Communication within Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, where he won the Varley Award and was shortlisted for the RCA x Pokemon Scholarship. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Falmouth University, and completed an exchange program at Hochschule Augsburg in Germany. He is skilled in Typography, Curation and Critical design thinking, and has a keen interest in type and composition-led design. He is looking for opportunities to collaborate with other creative professionals and to explore new ways of expressing and communicating through art and design.
