About me

Hello! I am Doug Crichton, a industrial & furniture designer based in London working in the contract furniture market. I am currently working as a Design Manager at Inside Out Contracts, designing for manufacture of bespoke furniture for the contract market. Leading a design team of two design assistants the work is varied from restaurants to high-end hotels contract work. I am responsible for all bespoke work produced at Inside Out Contracts including checking/producing drawings for manufacture, space planning & 3D visual concepts for clients. Other duties include delegating work and managing a growing team of young designers, designing company literature, producing content for the marketing team, liaising with clients & manufacturers, site visits & managing and overseeing installations on site.

• Dining Table - Design & VisualBespoke Table & Chair designed at Inside Out for different clients but would go well together. Table is comprised of a veneer table top with a chamfered built-down edge detail and inset marble tiles. Legs made from veneered and tile cladded structure.

  The Colour Studio - PinkPart of a collection of 3D visuals showing a chair designed and inspired by a project at Inside Out. This one shows the chair in a pink scenario inspired by the Instagram café of London.
