About me
What interests me within my work is commenting on social and cultural behaviours, exploring why we are drawn to certain things and why we choose to express ourselves in certain ways, creating projects that communicate this in an interactive yet unconventional manor. Working to a brief is something that agrees with me, with the ability to work collaboratively and individually. I am incredibly concept driven, laying down my ideas and creating a narrative is key to a successful project, which allows me build the foundations to an informative and interactive outcome. I would say a lot of my work follows a very similar style, creating outcomes that present a bizarre yet accurate visual to something that needs addressing. I like to think that the traditional boundaries of graphic design as a subject are being pushed, due to new ways of reaching outcomes using unique concepts and unorthodox platforms. In my work I have created projects using methods such as moving image, art direction, web design, various printing techniques, animation and heavy involvement within photography and photography studios. I am very found of the works from Daniel Eactock, John Smith and Wolfgang Tillmans.
