While at Central Saint Martins, I staged multiple improvised & scripted small room performances, all with a comedic edge but rooted in the concepts I was researching. I learned the value of developing concepts and how to develop new and bold ideas about how to be creative. I learned how to communicate in a creatively driven environment and collaborate with studio partners on everything from group exhibitions, to criticising each others work after the show. Taking time to deconstruct and reconstruct the ideas presented to deeply investigate how they can be improved upon. I honed my skills as a producer of film & music, and learned how to combine them into an end product with minimal strain on resources. The most important lesson I learned at Central Saint Martins was that being creative is a never ending process. I am never done developing ideas, even once a project is out of production, the concepts that were driving the project live on with me and develop into the next projects.

While studying Acting at York College, I gained the foundation for my skillset. We staged a large scale play at the Alan Ayckbourn Theatre. There is a War by Tom Basden (https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/30840062) The play was largely a satirical take on the political, moral and philosophical issues of War. This was one of my proudest moments, I helped to choreograph, score, and produce a play that came from the National Theatre. I had three roles to play, all in the supporting cast. Including two monologues and a duologue. I then took my skills into my own hands, producing my own short collection of sketches and performances, written & directed by me, with music performed by myself and some local music groups. Since then, I have been writing sketches in my spare time creating a collection of material to one day put into production. My final performance at York College was to a live audience, it was a dramatic monologue with a sharp satirical edge. At the end of the course I had achieved full distinctions for my performance and development since my beginning. This was one of my proudest moments. Performing Arts at York College gave me the experience I would need to work in Theatre, Film & Television, I learned the distinctions between what it takes to produce a play, and what it takes to produce Film&Television.
