I currently manage the Digital Partnership & e-Commerce strategy for STS, an independent label and management business. This requires management of the annual Digital budgets and forecasts, with ongoing reporting of our results. Working closely with the DSPs & brands on partner campaigns to build awareness of the artists and increase revenue streams. I directly manage the SEO, SEM, CRM & PPC campaigns in-house with a focus on audience growth and engagement.

During my 4 years as Head of department I was responsible for the Digital Marketing Strategy and implementation for 3 labels under the Sony Music umbrella. Managing a team of 12 employees (across different areas of the company), my team and I delivered the top revenue driving campaigns for the business during the period.
This was the result of creative and strategic marketing plans that included:
Social Media Channel Management/ Audience Growth:
With a team of channel managers and agencies under my direction, I was responsible for the growth & management of approximately 70 social channels. With the aim of building and maintaining engaged audiences, I built social strategies for Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YT & Twitter. Successfully building connected audiences from 0 to 1M+.
Creative Content Strategy:
I continued to drive my teams & the agencies commissioned, to build creative plans that were intrinsically based upon our wider campaign objectives, with the aim to keep audiences engaged. This included stills, short & long form video for use across online, mobile & TV platforms. Using information from our partner accounts, I intended to build content plans that were in keeping with the behaviours of our audiences on platforms they frequent, but pushing to think innovatively also. This also included working alongside the Research and Insight teams to further understand the dialogue of the audiences.
Account Management:
I was the direct contact for key digital (social, media, retail/ sales) account relationships on both a label level and also company wide. I worked closely with our key accounts on new developments across platforms, where possible making consistent improvements. I was also responsible for reviewing new products & applications prior to launch and working closely with Business Affairs to broker new agreements for the artists on my roster.
Digital Advertising/ Media Planning:
It was my sole responsibility to budget, brief and plan all paid digital activity across PPC, SEO, social, VOD, SVOD, network, re-targeting, programmatic & OOH. Under my direction we were able to reduce CPL metrics and increase overall engagement volumes and conversion.
Influencer Marketing/ Brand Partnerships:
As a company we strove to connect artists with relevant brands & influencers as a tool to increase audiences. My role as part of these relationships was to identify relevant partners and work closely with them to build campaigns that were mutually beneficial, reporting on results throughout.
Analytics:
Throughout & at the close of projects it was my responsibility to build analytical reports, to both support changes in strategy and also provide best practice & education to be shared with the wider company at a local and international level.
Finance:
Owning the annual Digital budgets I worked alongside the Finance Director on the P&L to forecast and budget up to 30 campaigns at a time, with the aim to increase profitability.
