Amsterdam Art (AA) is an organisation that is committed to strengthening Amsterdam’s position as an international contemporary art hub. Throughout the year, AA initiate collaborations between various art institutions and promote the most cutting-edge artists and exhibitions in the capital city, culminating during an annual Amsterdam Art Week. Initially worked as an all-round intern assisting in both the Programmes & Partnerships and Marketing & Communications departments. Whilst working I wrote the Amsterdam Art bi-weekly newsletters, promoting exhibitions, cultural events, workshops and more throughout Amsterdam, whilst also managing Amsterdam Art's social media accounts. As the Programmes & Partnerships Assistant I was responsible for behind-the-scenes organisation including the planning and productions of several events, setting up and coordinating catering with local cafes for a variety of events and running tours. I also guided several groups of international art professionals and acted as the key point of contact for our team of volunteers and a liaison between galleries, artists, and the Amsterdam Art team.

GRIMM is a contemporary art gallery and represents thirty international artists. GRIMM organize new exhibitions every 8 weeks in their two gallery spaces in Amsterdam and a third in New York, whilst also participating in international art fairs. I worked as an all-round intern across both Amsterdam-based locations. Four days a week I was hands-on within the gallery and behind the scenes. During my internship I also supported the team with the day-to-day operations and organisation of the gallery.
