- butterfly wings disease projectButterfly wings disease project was created to share information about the genetical disease called butterfly wings. The disease is very rare and there is no cure. It is found after birth. The skin of a patient is so sensitive it cracks and blisters. Thats why we used porcelain on a model - when it dries, it cracks. At some pics we also attached "wings" to the model to make good to the disease name.
