Responsible for running the Content team providing Strategy for across all Helia clients, primarily focussed on key client Unilever: Dove (Global), Simple Skincare (US, UK) and Surf (Global). Reporting into the Head of Content & Social, and working closely with Planning and Creative departments to deliver toolkits for both local and global campaigns. Brought in on new business pitches for McLaren, Volvo, Nestlé, Ministry of Sound, Walls. Contributed thought leadership piece on behalf of the company for WallBlog. Highlights: Dove Master Brand Campaign 2015 - ‘Choose Beautiful’ - Lead the conception and production of the supporting content platform to the campaign, designed to allow women to choose beautiful for themselves through content pieces designed to help positively influence self esteem. - Produced global toolkits for local markets across 73 territories. - Award: Shortlisted - Cannes Lion 2015 Simple Skincare - ‘Skin Social’ - Produced the overarching content strategy in both 2014 and 2015, a platform aimed at the brand’s teen audience. - Partnered with a number of YouTube creators, including Zoella, to provide a platform for teens to learn about skincare through content.
Initially recruited as an account manager for SYCO, working on social strategy and execution for most notably One Direction, Labrinth & Susan Boyle. Progressed to working across all client accounts in a role created for me as Head of Ideas & Innovation, taking advantage of my skills within design and creative. Responsible for all creative output from Essence’s Social department, working on campaigns for Google, eBay, McLaren F1, Arsenal FC (Junior Gunners), Moët & Chandon, Belvedere, Ancestry.co.uk, ABF: The soldiers’ charity and Pret a Manger. As Head of I&I, responsible for working on majority of new business and new campaign pitches, creating innovative strategic campaigns. Oversaw implementation: project managing design, build projects and video production, bolstered by my AGILE project management practitioners qualification. Highlights: One Direction - ‘Cyber Punk’ - Conceptualised, project managed and implemented content strategy aimed at engaging fans inbetween major album releases. - Campaign credited as key reason their first album debuted at No. 1 in US Charts, a first for a British act. eBay Brand Campaign 2013 - ‘Collections’ - Strategised the promotion and roll out of eBay’s editorialised ‘Collections’, a widely used mechanic that allows users to collate favourite content from the site.
Interned in the Marketing Department where I assisted the team across all of their UK & US artist campaigns, in order to establish them in the UK market. Included being responsible for production of radio ads. Acts included Lady Gaga, P Diddy, Far East Movement, Nelly Furtado, Jimmy Eat World, Rise Against, Jamie Woon and Chapel Club.
