Fka butt, (I was called Edd Butt, I jumped at the opportunity to change my name) Here's a decade of Highlights. 2011-Manchesters most sort after Tom Waits sings Britney Spears Songs Performance Artist Cabaret Act- Graduated from Manchester School of Art BA honours, Interactive Arts 2:1. 2012- Composed "Beyond The Parasol" for the Leeds Ballet Company Phoenix Ballet. and was awarded an MA in Sonic Arts from QUB S.A.R.C 2012-2014, Creative Director at an audio-video tech startup, now acquired by the leading competitor. 2013- Featured on BBC Radio 1, and was on the Scratch My Progress Artist Development programme with the Oh Yeah Music Centre. 2014- Developed advertising campaigns for Simply Zesty, also exhibited at the Royal Academy of Ulster, and videos I directed were featured in The Irish Times, 2015: The Thin Air music blog, one to watch, BBC Introducing track, of the day, the record of the week X2, Commissioned to create a Sound Installation for the National Theatre's production wonder.land, Awarded Funding from The Arts Council of NI, and The Princes Trust, 2016, travelled to Canada. Artist in Residency in Berlin and Grey County Canada, and in talks with various music industry professionals. to work with my favourite band. In 2017, I started at Tileyard Education, studying an MA in Commercial Songwriting and Production, after learning alot about emotional intelligence, how positivity and attitude is more important than talent I graduated, did a brief stint in property management, managing creative spaces, but when the pandemic arouse I used the opportunity to refocus, and I've been doing all sorts of music and art ever since, for people including New Portals, Rona, Brookfield, Carrie Baxter, Yasmine Jane, Lily Bud, Richard Strange, Will Purdue, JAMMA, et others. In 2021, I decided to focus on my passion for guitar effects developing Joyous Machines, a character universe for guitar fx,( did a days work experience at a pedal company...not for me) 2022, moved back to London, as my artwork was being liked by quite a few people, raised £60k to do art full time, tried a bit of property brokering also, but when you're selling old art studios, you start to think where are the artists going to work.... so happily parted ways. 2023 I needed to get a day job, as startups are similar as bands in a major label 1% make it, the rest learn from the experience., 2024, my job ended and I started to make music again with my old music mentor Leo Zero, we'll hopefully have an album out soon... (Still after that well paid dream gig)

  • Wonder.land
Wonder.landA new musical inspired by Lewis Carroll’s iconic Alice in Wonderland, by Damon Albarn and Moira Buffini. Welcome to wonder.land, where you can be exactly who you want to be. Aly, 12, loves this extraordinary virtual world. Bullied at school and unhappy at home, wonder.land offers an escape. Online, Aly becomes Alice: brave, beautiful and in control. But some of the people she meets – the weird Dum and Dee, the creepy Cheshire Cat, the terrifying Red Queen – seem strangely familiar. And as hard as Aly tries to keep them apart, real life and wonder.land begin to collide in ever more curious and dangerous ways.
