• Oxford Street: Trying to fix 'Sadiq's Garden Bridge'The number of buses that go down Oxford Street will be reduced, a proposal by Westminster City council reveals. The new plans for the Oxford Street district were put forward after local businesses and residents were opposed to the initial idea to make the high street entirely traffic free. 
• Chiswick's battle against the decline of independent shopsOver the past year, nearly 500 shops have become vacant on high streets in Greater London. Three councillors in the london Borough of Hounslow have come together to try and stem the decline of independent shops to save Chiswick High Road from become a copy of other roads, or simply disappearing.
