Hi I’m Eleanor - a Social Media Assistant working for British interior design brand, OKA. Having graduated in Fashion Journalism with a strong media and communication experience, my interests rely in music, content creation and radio journalism. I have gained recognisable media experience within internships and work placements including The Daily Telegraph and BBC Radio Solent. These have enabled me to gain confidence in the media industry, working alongside high level journalists to very tight briefs. I am most passionate about presenting creative content across social media platforms (and in print/editorial) while creating an engaging audience throughout.

During the pandemic in 2020, I put my time and efforts into starting my own fashion and music podcast 'Fashionably Late.' This idea came from my interest in the entertainment and music scene (as a huge fan of award show broadcasts and entertainment news interviews). I want to continue my passion in radio, developing my skills in producing (recorded/edited using Audacity software) and presenting from a small studio set up. Episodes include interviews with singer-songwriters and how they adapted their work during the pandemic, reporting on the latest fashion moments, (The MET Gala) and predictions/round ups from the biggest music events of the year (The GRAMMYs, The BRIT Awards). While also offering opinion-based interviews with fellow university course mates, from discussions on social media to advice after university. This is a platform I hope to continue to grow.
