Ellie Briffitt is a multidisciplinary artist based in London and Eastbourne. Her work explores the everyday and manipulating how the viewers experiences mundane everyday objects. Working in a variety of conventional and unconventional materials Briffitt's current works create a clinic feel with her use of reduced colour using materials such as RSG gesso, Plaster, Polyfilla, flocking fibres and the original everyday objects.
Her work has been exhibited at Strange Brew, Ambika P3, Houston centre of photography (online), among others.
Briffitt is currently studying on the BA Fine Art Mixed Media Degree, Graduating July 2023. While studying on her degree she lead the coordination of the Auction to raise funds for fellow students (Raising over £2000) as well as coordinating and curating the FAMM 2023 Degree Show catalogue along with a small team of fellow students.

(a small selection of pages - the catalogue includes 50 students works. Designed and curated by a small team of students within the 2023 graduates on BA Fine Art Mixed Media.
- 'Adytum' and 'Robe', Degree Show 2023Exploring the idea of order in the everyday, both of these installations were show in a white rooms to give a clinic feel to the work. Simailar to my previous projects I wanted to create works that were obsessively ordered and organised as for me this is what I find calming, as well as this there was the therapeutic use of repetition.
