About me
A recent MA History of Art Graduate with a specialism in documentary film, video and photography. I have a keen interest in the photographic representation of fertility, women in the military and female identifying young people. I am looking to work in exhibitions or with collections that develop and extend an understanding of the complex histories and potential futures of both documentary and fine art photography.

Partnership Editions is only a year old and I am working in all aspects of the business. I am developing relationships with partners, collectors and artists as well as overseeing the storage, packaging and distribution of the art works. My projects include streamlining the day-to-day processes of the business and contributing to the Journal which interviews emerging collectors and partners that share in the Partnership Editions ethos. The role requires great organisation, attention to detail and an enthusiasm for building great relationships.

Head of ExhibitionThe East Wing Biennial
     - Strand, London WC2R 0RN, UKFreelance
The exhibition SURGE represented a new era of the East Wing Biennial. In its 13th edition the exhibition opened in April 2018 in the North East Wing of Somerset House. Stripping back to its essential vision of promoting contemporary art, the exhibition featured emerging artists from arts universities across London. I was responsible for this year’s focus, concept and redefined remit to accommodate a new vision for the Biennial that strengthens ties between the Institute and other London universities. I pitched and gained backing from The Institute, building a team and assuming ultimate responsibility for the project's delivery. I was responsible for the budget and oversaw all fundraising and sponsor relationships whilst managing a team of 12. I designed the website for the exhibition, organised drinks receptions and private views for the exhibitions and orchestrated a panel discussion featuring Sarah Alagroobi, an exhibiting artist, Rachel Ara, artist in residence at the V&A and Katy Hessel of @thegreatwomenartists.

     - London, United Kingdom
With a specialism in documentary film, video and photography I completed research on the works of Thomas Demand, Laia Abril, Juno Calypso, Sonja Hamad and Newsha Tavakolian. I achieved a distinction in my dissertation entitled 'Capture A Soldier: Photographs of 21st Century Women Soldiers'. Throughout the course I focussed primarily on photography and the relationship between document and art-work, the archive and representations of women in contemporary photography.
