A determined, charismatic and conscientious individual with over five year’s experience in Marketing and Event Management. I have worked in many different venues and at a variety of functions, demonstrating my passion and aptitude for delivering great customer and client service, whilst maintaining Company values. My degree in English Literature has allowed me to pursue my love of the English language and develop creatively, diplomatically and eloquently, whilst encompassing my skills in time management and dedication to achieve a Second Class Honours, Upper Division from the University of Liverpool. I am resilient and versatile and can be relied upon to deliver work in high-pressure situations.
I have also travelled regularly, using my days off as a means of exploring different cities in Europe within a seventy-two hour time frame. I have been extremely proactive in seeking out ways to target readers who wish to travel without compromising careers or studies – recently introducing an email campaign that links to my online blog detailing inexpensive travel. I carefully manage my time, personal and professional balance and use my skills in research to analyse existing blogs and travel write-ups to find unique and creative angles for my own work and successfully promote this across multi-platform media, with one of my most recent posts on the Lake District featured in an online travel website, The Discoverer. Should you wish to find out a little more about some of my writing to date, I do have a website which can be seen at http://threedayseast.com.

As manager of the de Cuba Liverpool blog, having my finger on the pulse of upcoming events – whether it’s the Tall Ships Regatta or Bordeaux Wine Festival – is second nature. I have been extremely proactive in seeking out opportunities that help grow brand awareness – recently identifying and putting in place plans to execute an email campaign around a series of informative posts.
