What Britain Bought in 2017-Channel 4 -What Britain Bought 2017 is a review of the UK’s highs and lows in retail in 2017. With the help of retailers, industry experts and customers, presenter and retail expert Mary Portas guides viewers through the must have’s products, the do's and the don’ts of retail, and how our shopping habits relate to the most significant news stories of the year. -Solely across Production budget and Cost Manager, post schedule and viewings, hiring team, contracts, payroll, agreeing archive and kit deals. Running two edit suites due to the fast turnaround nature of the programme and responding to current events. Liaising with talent agents and graphics company, being across all pre-production, and delivery of the programme to Channel 4. Also completing post production paperwork.
Voom 2017-Virgin Media Business Launch film and live event -Online branded campaign for Virgin Media Business, a competition where entrepreneurs and small businesses pitch their business ideas to Sir Richard Branson for investment. Shoot involved an interview with Sir Richard Branson on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. I was solely in charge of all aspects of production, this included Risk Assessments, setting up insurance, keeping the Cost Manager up to date, contracting staff, across the edit, final post and delivery, client viewings, client liaison and all shoot logistics and schedules. -During the final 3 months of my contract I was involved in reversioning programmes from Sundog’s back catalogue for international delivery, as well as preparing and delivering 6 episodes of ‘The Outside Man’ series for Netflix, as well as other international distributors.
The Trouble with Dad-Channel 4 - I took over as Production Manager half way through the production. Documentary filmed across one year with David Baddiel. An intimate, moving and sometimes funny documentary exploring the impact that David’s father’s rare form of Dementia has on the families’ relationship. I was across legal and compliance viewings, all final post and delivery, keeping the Cost Manager and organising shoots. I then delivered the International version to our distributor. -Whilst working on this I worked across 4 branded short films for Virgin Trains presented by Anita Rani, this involved filming across the Virgin Trains Network with staff and customers.
Reggie Yates: Life and Death in Chicago-BBC1/BBC3 -Against the backdrop of unprecedented gun violence, Reggie Yates travels to Chicago to explore why many young black Americans are caught up in the violence. There were a staggering 468 murders in 2015, and this year the murder rate has soared by 72 per cent-Reggie explores who is to blame. My role included being across emergency health and safety protocols, arranging hostile environment training, gaining visa’s for the team, ensuring our team had security on location, arranging all travel and logistics and also being across the edit and delivery of 3 ‘shorts’ to accompany the programme. Voom 2016-Virgin Media Business advert -Branded campaign for Virgin Media Business, a competition where entrepreneurs and small businesses pitch their business ideas to Sir Richard Branson for investment. This shoot involved arranging a shoot on a mountainside in Switzerland with Sir Richard Branson, I was across working with a local fixer, organising local kit and crew, as well as carnets and accommodation. The Truth about Alcohol- BBC1 -Simultaneously working across two productions-The Truth about Alcohol and What Britain Bought in 2016, supporting both team during shoots and throughout the edit to delivery. ‘The Truth about Alcohol’, a fascinating 1-off programme aiming to decipher fact from fiction about the effects alcohol has on the body. Filming involves setting up experiments with participants, filming in hospitals and laboratories and at research centres. What Britain Bought 2015-Channel 4 -Filming involved setting up shoots with presenter-Mary Portas in various large retailers in London interviewing heads of departments, filming at future trends events, filming with bloggers and other entrepreneurs who have had a successful year selling their products.
