Recent graduated from Royal College of Art in June, my work is primarily concerned with areas uninhabited by humans and how they have begun to re-wild. This practice 'The Importance Of Not Being Present' consists of three sites containing; wildlife data collection, photography exploring rock movements and vegetation growth and insect and animal sounds at night. I also have a history of running workshops and talks with Central Saint Martins on how to work within architectural spaces and Winchester School of Art on colour exploration and connection. Collaborations with authors and scientists have resulted in immersive experiences (Recount Me Always Anew, 2016) and workshop and artworks (Formula Bonds 2018). I worked at The London Metropolitan University in their photography department as a learning assistant and note taker for five years after graduating from Byam Shaw (Central Saint Martins), at the same time as managing the arts program for arts and music festival The Big Noise. In order to further understand the nature of life other than human I am also currently a dog trainer and working on an illustrated book in response to a training guide from 1904.
