About me
I have been studying animation for more than five years and during that time I have directed or produced five short animated films. I am very interested in becoming an animation producer. Even though I love creating my own short films, the thing that comes more natural to me is organising projects and coordinating the work of other people. My animation skills and knowledge help me in understanding both the creative and the corporate side of an animation production. I have worked as part of a team for a few years now, both in creative agencies and in university projects. I am looking forward to experiencing this creative atmosphere in my professional life again.

  • ENO pitch-La Traviata
ENO pitch-La TraviataThis was a proposed idea and concept art for a three minute short inspired by the "La Traviata" staging of ENO. It has a new twist on the classic story. The main character, Violetta, is so afraid of dying that she makes a deal with the devil to give up her true love for immortality. But the devil tricks Violetta and instead makes her story immortal by turning it into a world renowned opera. Here are the concept art pictures and character designs I used for my presentation.
  • To save a life
To save a lifeThe story of how a terrifying experience of a leg amputation in a small operating theatre in the Victorian times, gives a woman the opportunity to continue her life. I wanted to depict the experience of having an amputation in those early days of surgery. How terrifying it must have been for the patients, who had no anaesthesia and no knowledge of what is going on. At the same time, the fact that this operation, with its small survival rates, was the only way to fight death and have a chance to live was something I wished to convey. Also, this film was part of a project for the Old Operating Theatre Museum, and one of the main objectives of the museum was to “bring back the people”. This is why I focused on a female patient and the film is all through her perspective.
  • The Getaway Hotel
The Getaway Hotel«The Getaway Hotel» is an exciting combination of film noir and heist films. An old lady, in a boring life, gets the chance to live the adventure she was always dreaming of when a mysterious couple rents a room at the «Getaway Hotel». Is her age going to stand in the way? Is she as smart as she thinks? Has she waisted her life daydreaming about a world that may not exist?

  • Forward Facing Swan
Forward Facing SwanForward Facing Swan is my graduation work for my MA in Character Animation at Central St. Martins. It is a piece of 3D animation aimed to look and feel like stop-motion, about two ladies in a yoga center with clashing personalities.
Work history
    Producer
     -
I was the producer and one of the animators in a group of four people. We created a four minutes stop-motion animation, inspired by the English National Opera production of "The Indian Queen" As the producer I made sure everything run smoothly during production and that we met our deadline successfully. After the completion of the project I also took on the responsibility of promoting the film further by sending it to festivals. So far we have succeeded in winning two awards for best animation.
