Graphic Designer producing minimalist work, with a keen interest in Illustration, Editorial Design, and Photography. My work is primarily editorial but, I enjoy hands on physical work that i can then edit and use within projects. I indulge in whimsical design, looking at everything around me for inspiration.
Currently a Freelance Designer.
Projects
- Melting MindsA short personal illustration/graphic design project made when my mind was melting from too much going on up there. The theory being we all feel like this sometimes and that's okay. Using well known animated characters to denote nostalgia and have fun seeing how far you can push it before you no longer regognise them.
- SIXTEENSolent University (Southampton) commission for a public Fine Art exhibition at Guild Hall Square. This project was outside of my course, and a commission from the University, the aim was to create a poster to advertise the exhibition which was displayed within shipping containers, this involved a lot of backward and forwarding between myself and the University to appease the University Guidelines. The Final piece consists of high contrast photography and, dominant logo.
- D&AD Adnams CampaignWorking with a set brief from Adnams via D&AD. The brief was to create a satiability campaign to introduce a new audience to the family run business. My project and concept was to promote the local area and what the company was preserving by being 100% sustainable, mixed with witty drink and recycling one liners and heritage vibes. Digitally hand drawn posters linking to the Southwold area to make the campaign close to home and personal.
