About me
A highly motivated graduate from Nottingham Trent University in Fashion Marketing and Branding, with the ability to complete tasks to a high standard, meet deadlines and exceed expectations. I am passionate about writing and the fashion industry to bring about societal change.
Projects
  • Estrella Clothing Ltd.
Estrella Clothing Ltd.For my final submission, towards my degree, I created an e-commerce occasionwear brand for physically impaired women aged 35-54 years in response to an unmet need that I identified during research. The brand's core lies within empowering women to feel as beautiful as others see them, whilst supporting the disabled community through employment and increased visual representation within the fashion industry.
  • Future Thinking: Inclusivity
Future Thinking: InclusivityDuring my final year, I selected the macro-trend of 'Inclusivity' as an area of interest. I completed a report on how the trend has impacted the fashion industry as well as other lifestyle sectors such as beauty, education and entertainment. I concluded with the perception that this trend needs to move away from being perceived as a marketing trend into an actionable movement within society in order to truly be combated as ultimately, we are all a minority as every individual is different.
  • Overlooking Impairments
Overlooking ImpairmentsDuring my final year project, I researched whether the fashion industry is overlooking consumers with physical impairments. After conducting primary research and an analytical literature review I concluded that although there are various movements towards the fashion industry becoming more inclusive there is a greater need for adaptive focused clothing.
