I graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours and completed a dissertation on the role of graphic design in social research through which I aimed to explore the field of visual sociology as an inventive research practice. The interdisciplinarity of this topic stems from the idea that imaginative methods of research represent an innovative response to a vast number of social problems, especially issues of inequality. Graphic design has the potential to become a tool for the study of sociological issues and the representation of the social world, as well as a mean of intervention for social change.
