Contributing to the delivery of the exhibitions programme by researching and sourcing materials, production assistance and helping with the installation and deinstallation of each show. Supporting the delivery of the residencies programme by assisting in tasks such as organising artist visas, travel and accommodation. As well as offering practical and administrative support to visiting artists by sourcing materials, preparing weekly stipends and assisting during the preparation of open studio events. Undertaking front of house duties in a public facing role, greeting visitors and collecting audience data surverys, setting up and closing the gallery, selling artist editions in the gallery shop and answering questions from visitors, requiring a comprehensive knowledge of the programme. Working with the communications manager to update website information and assist in the creation of engaging social media content by designing posters for the programme, editing images and documentation and creating promotional trailers when it is a suitable format for the material of the exhibition. Assisting the participation manager with the facilitation of workshops run by the current artists in residence, working with children across a wide age range.
