Elisa Ghysels (b.1995) is a Belgian artist based in London using performance, photography, costume and set as her media to experiment with current social issues and the aesthetics of our reality and our fantasies.
Besides her own work, Elisa has worked with different designers such as Robert Wilson during two residencies at the Watermill Center's summer programs in 2014 and 2016, Michèle Noiret and Sabine Theunissen during the design and building of a dance piece's set for Brussels National Theatre in 2014, and Charles Kaisin, making costumes and logistics for the designer's Surreal Dinners in 2014-2016.
She is now completing a BA in Performance Design and Practice at Central Saint Martins and will graduate in 2018.
